Slow Flow

What is something that would surprise me about you?
I used to be a scientist with research based in occupational health and have published a paper in the Occupational Therapy Journal of Research.
What can I expect from your class?
Intentionally curated flows & playlists, a meditative aspect, and autonomy throughout the entire experience. I pride myself on leading classes that give students choice and allows them to find a pocket of peace in a busy world.
What is the most essential part of practice for you?
The breath and how it aids us in finding presence in every moment.
Ryan, originally from Michigan, completed his RYT200 training at Detroit Yoga Lab with Naomi Gold in 2021. His journey with yoga began in 2018 and he quickly started to feel the shifts it was creating in his life. It became more than just movement—it was a way to navigate life’s journey with grace, always returning to a place of peace. As a black, queer yogi, his practice is rooted in creating a space where everyone—regardless of background or experience—can find peace, healing, and joy. Ryan leads with love in all that he does, and you can definitely expect to feel it in his classes.
