What is something that would surprise me about you?
In undergrad I studied political science, psychology, & US Intelligence. My life was headed in a completely different direction – until I found the practice of yoga & everything changed!

What can I expect from your class?
In every offering, you will learn to self witness as we journey into the body, mind, and energy system. The body is a sacred vessel for our own transformation. An instrument for healing. The portal through which we access an internal reservoir of wisdom that illuminates our human experience. You can expect to unearth a profound level of connection & presence within your own being.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
The somatic experience & release that unfolds as we move, breathe, & open with intention. Awareness of breath & body to awaken the spark within. Integration.

Healing Arts Practitioner | Doctoral Student, Integrative Medicine & Acupuncture, AIMC Berkeley, 500-Hour RYT – Yoga Alliance (8 years teaching experience), Integrative Somatic Practitioner – Embody Lab, Reiki Master – Trained in the Usui Reiki lineage

Ashley is a devoted healing arts practitioner. Her teaching illuminates the interplay between physiology and spirit, revealing how our state of being is reflected in our health. She weaves ancestral and alchemical wisdom into her offerings, guiding others in reconnecting with the sacred resonance within.

Rooted in the cosmology of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Taoist alchemical healing, Ashley’s work merges somatic and spiritual realms, offering an artful interpretation of subtle body healing. Through her practice, individuals are guided to honor the way—a spiritual journey of return to their natural state of harmony, balance, and interconnectedness—reconnecting with the stream of spiritual energy that restores wholeness to body, mind, and spirit. This flow mirrors the rhythms of the natural world, opening pathways for deep healing and renewal.

Her teaching holds an etheric quality, exploring the intersection of embodiment and energy medicine to regenerate health and restore our essential nature.
