What is the most essential part of practice for you?
The healing effects I receive for body mind and spirit through the practice.

Max Kopeikin (he/him & she/her) is a yoga nerd with a deep passion for the practice. His classes are alignment-centered and can range from quite dynamic to gentle/restorative.
Max has practiced various forms of yoga over the last decade of practice including Iyengar Yoga, Jivamukti Vinyasa, Restorative Yoga, Gentle Hatha, Yoga Wall Ropes, Anusara and AcroYoga. He is a Hatha Yoga ERYT-500 teacher and teacher trainer, and a Level 2 AcroYoga teacher and AY Immersion Instructor. Max has spent the past few years focusing on teaching yoga teacher trainings and mentoring yoga teachers in San Francisco. He co-developed and taught in a Trauma-Informed Yoga teacher training before moving to focus more on clinical trauma-informed yoga in his work in private practice as a psychotherapist. Max is studying right now to become a Iyengar Yoga teacher under his mentor Scott Hobbs. Max holds a his Masters from CIIS in EXA and has a Postgraduate Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy. Max began his career teaching yoga and AcroYoga in Barcelona at yoga con gracia, and he still travel teaches in Europe. Max continues teaching regular classes, trainings and workshops in San Francisco, and retreats around the world.
